incaceration nation

Indigenous Australians account for three percent of the Australian population, but represent 27 percent of the prison population, with numbers rising.

Incarceration Nation lays bare the story of the continued systemic injustice and oppression of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on their own land. Told by First Nations people, this documentary puts the justice system on trial.

Incarceration Nation is now streaming on SBS on Demand: https://bit.ly/3tf8UwU
